Glossier.

My skin hates me. I have tried several products, changed my diet but my skin hates me. We have a love/hate relationship, I try to do what’s best for it and it retaliates with oily skin, large black heads and the occasional blemish.

I am always on the hunt for a product that will make my skin look natural, dewy and healthy. I know diet is definitely a large partner in creating a flawless foundation; which I do but sometimes you need the perfect products to go along with it. Glossier. was blowing up my Instagram and I decided I really needed to try out the products and the price points were not completely outrageous. I never expect a lot of a product right away and like to give myself at least a month to get used to it. Which is what I did with Glossier and it has exceeded my expectations.

Glossier is the product of Emily Weiss; the creator of the beauty site Into The Gloss , which is one my favourite sites to go to for beauty suggestions, tips and I really just love their photos. When I read about Glossier I was definitely interested but I had been using a product I kind of liked but was really expensive so when I ran out I decided to try Glossier. I loved the price points of each item and that everything seemed very natural made to make your skin glow and looks real and natural; which is what I was searching for. I initially was going to only order the Priming Moisturizer and then I really wanted the Balm Dotcom because my lips are ALWAYS dry and I can’t seem to find the right product. And then I liked the idea of their Perfecting Skin Tint so I just decided to order everything which comes with their soothing face mist as well.

When I got the package I loved their personalized packing from the packing tape, to the box to the bags that came into them to the personalized stickers. It reminded me so much of products from High school and it just got me supper pumped to get to using them. The face mist is wonderful for pretty much any time of day. I tend to use it in the afternoon and evenings and it just is the perfect pick me up and smells great; it has Rosewater and Aloe to hydrate skin.

I love the priming moisturizer it is one of the best moisturizer I have used in a while. Most moisturizers have left my skin feeling heavy and oily and just kind of gross; this product is really a magical dream. It’s effect is to leave your skin looking plump, sooth skin and redness and just looking clean and dewy and that is exactly what this product does. When I use this my skin feels soft, clean, not oily and I feel confident to walk out of the house with no make up on.

My other favorite product is their Balm dotcom; I actually have zero negative things to say except I go through it to fast. I use this mostly on my lips and it is the first product ever to put on my lips, keep my lips soft and hydrated and not have to constantly apply all day long. I use this before I go to bed and in the morning and whenever I feel like I need it. I also use this on my elbows and even areas of my hands when they get dry from this winter weather. It’s a miracle product and I think everyone needs to purchase this product. I am actually probably going to order two from now on so I have one in my bag and one I can leave by my bed.

I love their Perfecting Skin Tint too. I don’t wear a ton of makeup. I love makeup but I just don’t wear a lot of it; especially foundation. I really like my skin to be able to breathe and I don’t love how a lot of foundations feel on my skin and they always smell kind of like mental. I don’t know that’s just me. I love this skin tint because it goes on so lightly to give me this smooth, even dewy glow but still shows off my freckles which I have grown to appreciate. The only thing is I purchased it in light and I should have maybe gotten it in medium it is a bit light on me but it works just fine.

All in all I have to give high fives all around to Glossier and Emily Weiss for creating such a fun and perfecting product that I can highly recommend to friends, you guys and constantly re-purchase when the time comes.
