Sutton Necklace Three Ways

Stella & Dot has created some of the most stylish and versatile pieces of jewelry. They have pieces so simple to big statement pieces. They are not just a jewelry brand, they have so much more from handbags, candles, scarves, and more, they have terrific prices from an array of pieces under $50 upwards of $200 there is something for everyone.

I love that they are more than just shopping, they also give back which is a huge deal to me. Volunteering for breast cancer by purchasing items towards Breast Cancer Awareness, or supporting programs that empower women. I am so honored to be an Independent Stylist with Stella & Dot.

SO, when I found this GORGEOUS necklace “Sutton” I was once again blown away. It’s not just a necklace only worn one way you can wear it 5 WAYS!!! Wear it bold as a statement piece, or long for something more casual, you can even remove pieces for less sparkle or all sparkle. It is mixed metal and sparkles. The necklace is $128 which probably seems a little more than you’d probably spend on a necklace, BUT it’s like 5 necklaces for the price of one!! So kind of a great deal! 🙂

What I wanted to do with this necklace is put together 3 looks with this necklace 3 ways. A look for work, A look for a night out and A look for the weekend or just being laid back.

Sutton Necklace 3 ways

I realize this specific look might not work for everyone because the skirt is leather, but you can always swap the leather skirt out for a regular nude pencil skirt. BUT, my fashion theory for work has always been wear it until someone tells you you can’t LOL 🙂 not the best advice so take that with a grain of salt :).

This “uniform” is usually my favorite, but instead of the leather skirt it’s usually just a black pencil skirt or an array of different colors, I also LOVE wearing nude pumps, they make your legs look long and lean so I usually wear them when I am wearing a skirt without tights or something. I also love wearing a statement necklace with a button down top and my sleeves rolled up. I feel like it gives a basic white button down a little umph. The Sutton necklace is perfect for this look, with the sparkle and mixed metals with the leather skirt and the silk blouse is just the right about of style for the work place. With this look you want to wear the necklace under the shirt so it peaks out, not over the collar for this look.

Night out

I have to say, this look is probably one of my favorites. This dress is AMAZING and I am pretty sure I am going to have to purchase this dress, I love the simpleness of the dress but also the structure of the dress is gorgeous. I also love how the Sutton looks with this dress. However, with this look I would take most of the sparkle strands off and use mostly just the mixed metals and a touch of sparkle. Because the dress and necklace is subtly bold now with the necklace I add a delicate chain bracelet (from Stella & Dot). A simple box clutch and a pair of sick ankle booties/heels and a bold lip ties the whole look together. With this look I would keep my hair simple, like maybe a middle part smoothed back into a low bun would look super chic.

Weekend with Sutton

This looks is pretty much me on the weekends. I live in denim rolled up, with a pair of adorable flats, a slouchy hat and basic Tee. I also like adorning my basic tee with a fabulous necklace, either a long delicate necklace or a statement piece. That’s where the Sutton comes into play. With the Sutton you can wear it long which I would do or I would only add the sparkle strands to add a little girly feel to the basic look.

This necklace is truly amazing, it can be worn so many different ways and looks great with everything. But Stella & Dot has so many other amazing pieces. Take a look at my page to shop or host a trunk show even a virtual trunk show 🙂

How would you style the Sutton Necklace? Or How would you style your favorite Stella & Dot piece?
